Who Designs Your Race? | Collective Magpie Artist Talk

Join La Trienal curators in discussion with artist, MR Barnadas of Collective Magpie about their online survey, Who Designs Your Race?, which takes on the context of the census and other race-related survey practices. Available for the public to complete, the data collected will inform Collective Magpie of their infographics. Who Designs Your Race? is a commissioned online artists’ project, which will be displayed as part of ESTAMOS BIEN – LA TRIENAL 20/21.

As the president-elect Trump officially takes office on inauguration day Jan 20th, 2017 we are holding a Globos workshop,TJ // AGUAS // CAUTION // AGUAS // SDin an effort to open new bridges of conversation through the border.This community workshop will take place in collaboration with artists of Relaciones Inesperadas in the neighborhood of Ruíz Cortínez, Tijuana. There will be artist presentations, conversations, Hot air balloon making and more. This is in partnership with Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.
